正会員の佐々木博光（大阪公立大学）です。下記の国際学会より発表者募集の案内がございましたのでご連絡いたします。騎士修道会学会は会期の初日に若手部会を設けており、Doktorandenに研究発表の機会を提供しています。そこで発表してくださる方を募集しています。日本の大学の大学院生が対象になります。今回はウィーンでの開催となります。対象は騎士修道会に関係するもの全般です。直接お申し込みくださっても結構ですし、佐々木を介してでも構いません。関係する会員の方が奮ってご応募くださることを祈念しております。
Dear Professors and Colleagues,
The other organisers and I are looking for presentations for the upcoming 2025 Youth Meeting of the Researchers of the Military Orders. The 12th edition will, as usual, accompany the 23rd “Ordines Militares. Colloquia Torunensia Historica” conference and both will take place on 24–27 September 2025, the Youth Meeting on Wednesday, 24 September 2025. This time exceptionally in Vienna, Austria, and not in Toruń, Poland.
We are looking for young researchers, typically master’s and doctoral students and recent PhDs, who study all topics related to the history of military orders, regardless of their geographical and chronological context. The Youth Meeting will enable them to deliver 20-minute presentations of their current or recently finished research to an audience made of renowned military orders history scholars who attend the main conference. We also encourage the participants of the Youth Meeting to stay for the main “Ordines Militares” conference to listen to the experts’ papers and engage in discussions.
以下で当学会の条件をお知らせいたします。原則としまして旅費は当方負担、宿泊・滞在にかかわる経費は先方負担です。
The organisers will cover most expenses connected with the Youth Meeting and the conference, that is, the accommodation in Vienna, meals, and conference materials. Also, there is no conference fee. However, the Youth Meeting and main conference participants are expected to cover their travel expenses to and from Vienna on their own, as those will not be reimbursed.
Young researchers interested in participating in the Youth Meeting should send a short submission including their first and last name, institutional affiliation (university or other), their career stage (e.g. a master’s student, PhD student, a PhD, etc.), the title of their presentation and a short abstract presenting the topic of their research to the email address: piotr.kolodziejczak@umk.pl. The deadline for the submission of proposals is the end of January 2025. We strongly recommend presenting one’s broader research connected with, for example, one’s diploma thesis, research project, institutional grant, etc., and not a narrow, analytical paper, as the Youth Meeting’s goal is not only to allow young researchers to exchange scholarly ideas with more advanced scholars but also to receive insightful feedback on their research and reflect the ongoing investigations on the military orders conducted by the younger generation of researchers. The submissions and later conference presentations may be delivered in either English or German.
