キャサリン・ホームズ博士来日講演＆ワークショップ
２０１６年７月に立教大学招聘研究員として、オックスフォード大学歴史学部准教授のキャサリン・ホームズ博士が来日します。ホームズ博士はビザンツ帝国史研究の第一人者であり、また中世グローバルヒストリーの共同研究「Defining the Global Middle Ages」のプロジェクトリーダーをつとめました。今回の来日に際しては、グローバルヒストリーの観点からの講演ならびに、若手ビザンツ史研究者とのワークショップを予定しています。

ホームズ博士の著作は、Basil II and the Governance of Empire (976-1025) (Oxford, 2005); (ed. with J. S.
