国際研究集会Legal manuscripts in the Frankish worldのお知らせ
下記の要領で国際研究集会を開催します。みなさまどうぞふるってご参加ください。
カロリング期のフランク王国内で通用あるいは流布していた様々な法や関連テクストのコンピレーションが、同時代に、あるいはカロリング朝の崩壊後も、各地で作成されました。今回の研究集会はこうした手稿本、とりわけ種々の装飾が施された法テクスト手稿本に注目し、これらを手掛かりにフランク期およびポスト・フランク期の法文化を考察しようという試みであり、国内外の歴史家・美術史家12名を集めて行われる学際的な集会となります。各報告では、特定の手稿本やテクスト群について、特にそれらの作成や使用のコンテクストについての考察がなされます。その際、ともすれば実践性に関心が向けられがちな「法的」手稿本に付与された様々な視覚効果にも注目すること、多様な形で見られる「編纂」という知的営みを把握していくことを通じて、個々のテクストを読み解くだけでは見えてこない当時の法文化の側面を明らかにすることが、今回の集会の主要な目標となります。詳しくは添付のチラシ（2頁）をご参照いただけますようお願いいたします。
