ヨーン・カール・ヘルガソン教授来日プログラム
2013年11月末日より、中世アイスランド文学、その受容史、翻訳理論などを専門とするアイスランド大学のヨーン・カール・ヘルガソン（Jón Karl Helgason）教授が来日されます。彼は博士論文に基づく主著The Rewriting of Njáls saga : translation, ideology, and Icelandic sagas, Clevedon, Buff.: Multilingual Matters, 1999をはじめとして多数の論文をアイスランド語と英語で刊行する一方、ブログ（http://uni.hi.is/jkh/）やアイスランドサガのデータベース（https://wikisaga.hi.is/index.php/Main_Page）など、ディジタルによる情報発信を積極的にすすめています。彼の来日にあわせて、11月25日には立教大学でワークショップOld Icelandic Text in Medieval Northern Europeを、29日（金）には京都大学でMedieval Sagas as Modern Hypertextsと題したディジタル・ヒューマニティーズに関わる講演を予定しております。以下詳細をお知らせしますので、関心のある方は足をお運びください。（小澤実）
